As far as I've been able to tell there is no such thing as split-screening with GTA4. 1 person per Xbox

You didn't do it right. I know for a FACT that you can have up to even 4 people playing games like Gears of War, Halo 3, CoD4, etc. on 1 Xbox and they only need 1 gold account. The other 3 join as "guests" and then their names are just Zeus[1] and Zeus[2].

I know this to be true because a) I've seen others do it while playing on Live and b) I did it myself with my ex last year... plus it was playing Gears of War online with my cousin that helped convince me to GET an Xbox.

Yeah I dont wanna spend money on a second gold account just to play GTA online. I do, however, hate people calling me SineSwiper when I play online..it's a bit odd..lol
