So I have played through the tutorial and the first couple of missions of the game and I have to say that so far I am very impressed. You play with the wiimote and nunchuck, and so far I am just using the default control scheme which is working perfectly for me. The B trigger is to fire, while A is to jump. You press the - button to reload, right on the Dpad to switch guns, and down on the Dpad to scope in or out. A melee attack can be done by simply thrusting the Wiimote forward.
As far as the nunchuck goes you shake it to throw grenades. You can be very precice cause it will throw it exactly where you are aiming with the wiimote. The C button on the nunchuck is used to crouch.
As would be expected aiming and turning is handled with the wiimote, while you use the analog stick to go forward and back and strafe. You can adjust EVERYTHING, from the wiimote dead zone, to the sensitivy of the curser, how quick you turn around, and even adjust the indicators on the hud wherever you want them. I haven't played around with it too much but everyone should be able to tweek it to find a control setting that is perfect for them
I am playing on easy difficulty right now so I cant say too much about how hard the game is yet, but it has defidently been a fun ride. Graphics are very nice for a game on the Wii (just cause I dont care too much about em doesnt mean I dont notice them) And the voicework so far has been solid, nobody thats voice is so annoying that I just want to put them on mute. Music and SFX are great as well
Anyone else playing this yet? The Wi-Fi multiplayer supports the WiiSpeak mic, so hopefully we can get some good game going.
