  • Castlevania ReBirth coming - back to the original formula

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

Konami announced Castlevania ReBirth for Wiiware, not really any other details are known at this time other than the formula will be that of one of the early Castlevania game; which is good news for me since I had been waiting for something like this for quite a while. This comes after the recent release of Contra ReBirth.

Like the other ReBirth titles, it won't be a remake, but will be based on the roots of the series with better graphics.

The title is called Castlevania: the Adventure ReBirth; not to be confused with Castlevania Adventure on GB.

I find it really strange that instead of linking to an actual news account (like, say, http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3176010), you repeat the news story yourself. You always do this. Why don't you just link to the news account?

I'm not trying to be difficult, I just really don't understand why you do it.

I post from mobile/iPhone 90% of the time. Unless it is necessary, the process of linking articles is both more time consuming and more complicated than it is on a PC/netbook.

It is a much easier experience to just write about the news and my perspective on this site after I have finished viewing the game news I want to. Unlike a PC/netbook, you can only really effectively view 1 page at a time on mobile so hitting back and forth to a page you were at earlier, you run the risk of having your post erased (on iPhone you have 8 tabs, but the other complications still exist, and there is potential that a site utilizes too many scripts/graphics that will prompt the browser to clear out old data, which would include a post you are in the middle of writing).

I hope that answers your question. It's not because I am not thinking to do it, it's just enough less convenient. =)
