I guess Game Informer has confirmed the game is going to be comming out in Fall of 2010.

Now new screenshots at that link or that I have seen, and at this point the steampunk refrence hasnt been confirmed or denied, but the article quotes.

It looks like Game Informer is gonna make a huge deal with this, they have a website set up where they will be revealing new screenshots and news and interviews every few days.
