Just curious whether or not you guys care about the following games comin' out soon:

1) Duke Nukem Forever (June 14)

14 years later, do you still care? I gots my Balls of Steel Edition waiting :-)

2) Ocarina of Time 3D (June 19)

Yes, it's a remake of a 13 year-old game, but man, they're doing a lot to update it. And with the absolute scarcity of ANYTHING to care about on the 3DS, I've got mine preordered

3) Catherine (July 26)

Atlus' first next-gen, in-house game. Made by the Persona team, mixture of a puzzle and dating sim with nice cel-shaded that looks like anime (not to mention anime cutscenes).

4) Children of Eden (June 14)

This one's for the Kinect people. It's by the Rez / E4 guy which SHOULD sell you on it. I don't have a Kinect so I ain't gettin' it but I'd like to know if any of you guys care

5) Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon (July 5)

If I have to explain what this is, you probably ain't gettin' it. Just curious if anyone here cares.

I'm getting Duke Nukem immediately. Even if it sucks, ill have a shit eating grin on my face while playing the entire time as i relive childhood memories of playing that game for countless hours.

Duke Nukem sounds middling in all the previews I've seen. Basic shooter stuff with raunchy humor. Not worth full price and possibly even a purchase from me at any point. To put it simply - it sounds like they cut corners to get it out on multiple platforms and this quickly.

Catherine could be interesting and if it gets good reviews I might just check it out.

Haven't heard of Earth Defense Force. Looks pretty neat but looks like precisely the kind of game I suck at with console controllers.

Getting Infamous 2 and Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition(For those of us that own SSFIV) tomorrow

Alice comes out next week, along with Record of Agarest War Zero

And the week after that F.E.A.R. 3 comes out

Duke Nukem is one of those games I'll probably pick up on Steam when it's sub $20.

Yeah I only ended up buying Infamous 2 and SSFIV:AE. ;p

Infamous 2 is probably the best game I've played this year mind you.

It's amazing how well written it is.

Mass Effect and Bioshock are always Q1 releases

Eh? ME3 was originally slated for this year and I never heard anything about it being feasible in the first quarter. The original saw its release in the fourth quarter (Q2 PC release) - so I suppose my response to that is "????????"

And I was going off of EA's history of releasing relatively big titles in Jan-Mar, including Dead Space 2 and Mass Effect 2.

I'm almost thinking June 3 is a placeholder and they'll re-announce it to Oct/Nov come E3 2012

I'm certainly up for them taking their time. Second iterations of their games have been fun and action packed but completely void of depth compared to their source material. They haven't released a third game in a series... EVER to my knowledge. I'm certainly up for them experimenting with what they do as a company but I'm also hoping that they take the staggering depth of the original and the IN YOUR FACE pacing of the sequel and find some way to merge them.

Tempting but I almost never grab demos since if I like them too much I'll end up playing them so many times through it ruins the actual beginning of the game for me. I'll just wait heh

I'm just excited for a new game to play on the 360. I think the last 360 game I pre-ordered was Assassin's Creed Brotherhood.

Hmm, the tower puzzle levels looks frustrating already in the video! I dont doubt this game has a great story, but every night scene is a new frantic tower puzzle? I wonder if that gets annoying.

It depends on how they do it. In the demo, it wasn't so bad. But it really will need to grow from there. Can't do that shit for the entire game. And from what I've heard, it's supposed to be much more than just what we saw in the demo.

I actually didn't like the demo that much, it really showed you nothing. I wanna get my hands on the full game

Having played the Japanese version, in terms of game play, you really don't do a whole lot other than climb towers. You walk around in the "real world" sometimes but it's not much to speak of. Best way I can describe it is as a story-driven, cinematic puzzle game.
