While funny and talented they have proven themselves not to be savvy businessmen.

Can't really blame them. They were just dudes making a three panel comic.

Ive been playing this lately and really like it, too. The very unique art and music style is refreshing.

The weapons challenges are freaking hard. I have only been able to fully beat the arrow and shield ones. The repeater crossbow challenge seems impossible to me, I'm not sure how I can move any faster. As far as story, i think i have one or two more cores to find and the plot is still not very clear to me. I like the narration, but i hope some questions get answered! What i found weird, the Kid moves fast while going up, but he is pretty slow all around and it is the only aggravating aspect of the game so far.

Remember, you may have to upgrade your weapons first for them to be able to beat the challenges. And for repeater crossbow, remember, auto-target is your friend (is it the shift key? Can't remember).

Bastion is 50% off ($7.50) on Steam right now. I'd say you'd be a fool not to grab it but knowing Valve it'll probably be on sale for even less by Spring if you want an even better deal.

I liked it enough on the 360 that I'm buying it again since I like replaying games on my PC more than my 360.

I beat Bastion on the game plus mode last night and found that a lot of the game is meant to be completed during a second playthrough on this mode (meaning challenges, achievements, and vigils). This wins as being one of the most beautifully crafted games I've ever played. The epilogue picture show that changes depending on

which ending you choose
is one of my favorite ways to end a story. Tales of Vesperia also did that well.

WTF?

I've seriously been out of the gaming scene for a good 6-9 months now, coding and playing MTGO instead. Just jumping back into it now. Besides Bastian, what good is out there?

Also, I should probably mention Terraria, since that's one of the things I'm coding for. Working with the guy who makes TEdit (Terraria Map Editor) and trying to get an auto-maze generator out the door myself. As usual, it's taking much longer than I thought, but I'm a bit of a completest nerd, so I'm trying to get something completely fleshed out.

Dungeon Defenders is in this category and is worth a mention, even if with the latest games being released in the coming weeks Tessian and I probably won't be playing it much at all any more. Other than Dungeon Defenders, Bastion is the only thing that comes to mind and Bastion is much, much better. To a lesser extent, Sanctum is also pretty fun if you can find coop partners.
