  • Okay, folksies...I need some recommendations for a really good racing game for DC.

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

<div style='font: 9pt Modern; text-align: left; '>I want a racer, and I want it bad. I haven't played a good one since GT, and since I <i>was</i> waiting for Bleemcast to play GT2, I may as well give up. I was thinking of getting Sega GT when I first heard about it, but then I saw some sketchy reviews and I backed off. So what do you guys think? What would you recommend as a good racer?

Keep in mind that my racing preferences in the past have been pretty varied - I would say my three fave racers are Jet Moto, Wipeout XL, and Gran Turismo, not necessarily in that order.

The thing I'm most annoyed about, though, is that I can't use my neGcon on my DC. I love that controller. *sniff*</div>

<div style='font: 9pt Modern; text-align: left; '>And besides, to be honest, except for the horsepower upgrades or weight reductions, I really couldn't tell all that much of a difference between before and after most GT upgrades. Maybe I just wasn't paying that much attention, or didn't change my options around that much, but really - how much did you guys appreciate having the upgraded flywheel as opposed to the regular one?

<div style='font: 11pt "comic sans MS", Modern; text-align: left; '>Really? Well....I'm getting an awesome deal for a DC, two controllers, memory and 7 games for $150. I thought 355 was good. What's wrong with it?</div>

<div style='font: 12pt Modern; text-align: left; '>Well, I don't know what Black Lotus's reasons are, but to me it is a sim in the dullest possible sense of the word...at least for the arcade version...</div>
