I'm assuming your friend decided to look for it, and therefore Korcha joined him. If you chose not to look for it, you get Glenn instead.

BUT...

There's a way, still, but you would've had to beat the game first and had Glenn with you then. There's a trick where if you start a New Game +, you can get the characters from your last game in your new game (although that doesn't happen until late in the game). This is the only way to get all the characters in the same game. Hope that made sense.</div>
