The Other Worlds Shrine

Your place for discussion about RPGs, gaming, music, movies, anime, computers, sports, and any other stuff we care to talk about...

  • What is your favorite RPG game. The kind you don't get tired of playing.

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

<div style='font: 12pt Baskerville; text-align: left; '>...<i>what you have to do is save your game before you play him and then keep on betting your winnings. The game isn't totally random and there's approximately a 50/50 chance that you'll run the table and walk away with $999,999. Either that or you'll lose everything on one roll but if that happens you just load the saved game and try again. It doesn't really take that long and it's a lot easier to get big money rolling the dice than with the cup game.

I only played the cup game in the beginning long enough to get a few pairs of wing boots. The problem with the cup game is that once you recruit her, it's totally random. The dice is a lot easier and I pretty much maxed out every fighting character's equipment and weapons playing the dice game.

Obsessed? Anal? Who, me?</i></div>

<div style='font: 9pt Arial; text-align: left; '>A lot of the tougher puzzles were trial and error. A FAQ wasn't really necessary for them, but they wasted a lot of time.</div>
