<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Of course, I didn't listen to it all yet (it's 4 hours+ of music), but a quick sampling reveals nothing of interest. I'm really beginning to appreciate the music in FF8, which I think is the last good piece of video game music Uematsu composed.
The battle themes are okay. They're actually quite good, though the unique battle themes aren't that good, IMO.
Character themes aren't too exciting, though I only listened to Tida and Yuna's in detail. Yuna's theme is a variation of Suteki Da Ne which I really don't think is that good.
The track that stick out the most for me was A Short Lived Dream, which is a track somewhere on the 4th CD. I'll listen to it some more later today and see if I find anything else interesting.
The track names Winamp pulled are, as far as I can tell, pretty accurate, though that's probably because the tracks on FFX are very simple and literal which doesn't leave a lot of room to screw up.
BTW, I saw the Chinese ad for FFX. Tida was barely mentioned. The ad focuses around Yuna and Lulu, and it made it sound like Tida's just someone who tagged alone for the ride.</div>
