<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Finished playing it. I got all the characters except Demon Hyo which is probably because I'm missing a branch or two here and there. I don't know, the game plays exactly like Rival Schools but it doesn't feel quite right. For one, Capcom seems to have been skimping out on endings recently. A lot of characters aren't related to the endings in any way. Kyosuke, who is supposed to be important to the story, barely gets mentioned. And why does Hyo have to die? He was brainwashed by his father and they sort of just accidentally killed him when he went crazy? I thought it was going to be something like Rival Schools where you've to beat them with a team up combo to get the real ending, but there was no such thing. I thought that was one of the cooler parts of the original game...

I think the female fighters are way underpowered except Momo. It's hard to say who's the best fighter, but besides the obvious (Demon Hyo and Kurow), I'd say it's probably Roberto, Shoma, Burning Batsu, and Roy (though I'm having problems with the timing on his Shoryuu Reppa super... well, I'm sure it's not that, but it sure sounds like he's saying that).

There isn't some hidden ending where Hyo doesn't die, is there?</div>

<div style='font: 12pt Arial; text-align: left; '>I'll agree that Momo is one of the more powerful females, yikes. My one friend Chris has a long long combo with her that he has refined pretty well... one which does major damage (especially when it's pulled off multiple times in a match). However, it seems that most all the characters have some great combos and special moves that can trap a player (or as I'm always calling it, "exploitative moves" heh). As for the ending, I'm not sure. I'm so behind on stuff, I haven't even gone out to earn all the folks in my own version of the game yet (I usually just play it when with others, and one of them always has the VMU data with all the characters).</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>There's no edge in the screen, and the default options has recovery fall = invinicible. Unless you set up so that you don't have invincibility in safe fall, you can always escape.

I find the standard combos work well enough for most characters. You can try something creative but most people can't squeeze that much extra damage out of supers. For example Hinata does like 10 more points of damage if you combo a super hurricane kick, which is really tough because the hurricane kick super has a very short range. Most of the time it's better to use your super bar either to cancel their team up attack, or use it as a tardy counter since supers do so little damage when comboed.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt Arial; text-align: left; '>Well I mean, my main concern in combos for that game are that... if you execute the timing properly, there's no way for them to break out of a long 20+ hits combo.</div>
