  • I DLed Irakuga for the DC....I'm not 100% sure, but I think all the special light effects should have given me a siezure.

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Heh, my friend was saying the exact same thing about Marvel vs. Capcom yesterday =P</div>

<div style='font: 11pt ; text-align: left; '>As a Marvel vs Capcom 2 junkie, I can honestly say doesn't come close to producing the lighting effects Irakuga does for the DC.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>My problem was that I was more used to the strategic battle style of Soul Calibur. Marvel vs. Capcom was a pure button masher. In fact, the best strategy to use was just keep doing super moves, and when you don't have power for them, rotate the control pad and hit random buttons. I didn't start winning until I started doing that =P

Ikaruga is coming out for Gamecube, I might buy it if I like it on Dreamcast, I know a few people who have it (burned of course), but I haven't played it yet.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt ; text-align: left; '>What the hell? The best part about Marvel vs Capcom was the combos, I hesitate to call that "Button Mashing". Marvel vs Capcom 2, is a bigger upgrade over Marvel vs Capcom, you're allowed to link more stuff.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>MvC2 SEEMED like a pure button masher, but it's not....at all. If you know how to play it, you'll kill a novice. I played that one for about 80 hours on the DC, I actually learned the intricacies of it. It's my fav fighting game behind Soul Calibur</div>

<div style='font: 11pt "EngraversGothic BT", "Copperplate Gothic Light"; text-align: left; '>Agreed. It's a great game, but trying to master it just gives me seizures. I can't keep up with 4 different characters at the same time.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>4? You mean 3...</div>

<div style='font: 11pt ; text-align: left; '>Technically it's four because you'd have btoh player's assist characters on the screen constantly if you have any sense.</div>
