  • Final Fantasy Tactics Advance is out. Anyone played it yet?

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Not as good as the first I don't think, but still one bad ass game. My favorite class is the templar, and favorite race is the viera.

Pluses include: moving random clan battles which are avoidable compared to the original FFT where you have a chance to get a random battle just from crossing a point on the map. Dispatch missions, which allow you to train your entire clan efficiently instead of just 5 members like in FFT. Right now I'm training 11 guys and I have no problem with experience or ap (the equivalant of jp in the first one). Also the set ability point reward for the end of a mission helps with that too. Ritz is cool, Marche is cool, Montblanc is cool, and the game is very french like, which in my mind is cool.

Minuses: It's on GBA, they should've made it for PS2, no reason to play an awesome game on a small screen. Unless an item gives an ability it doesn't really tell you what class can use it when looking at it in the shop, and that's just damn annoying. I don't like the placement of areas. And laws can be ridiculous.

My thoughts anyway.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt "Fine Hand"; text-align: left; '>Hmmm....your complaints are echoed by others. Whereas FFT for PSX had almost none. Well, that's what my PS-One and LCD screen is for. : Luggable PSX.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>I actually never finished FFT. Got 22 hours in, got distracted by something (homework or RE2), and by the time I got back into it I had no clue what the hell was going on anymore.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt ; text-align: left; '>I don't understand why they changed the shop like they did. I miss the rotating screen. Laws suck. :) Does this game get as dark as the original did? Cause right now it seems light hearted.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt "Fine Hand"; text-align: left; '>FFT was quite long if you wanted all you members to be able to experience all the jobs.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>So far it is light hearted, but I'm waiting for something better and bigger to happen. There have been a few cool events however. I can't think of a game that can rival the plot of the original FFT.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>I'd go back and beat it right now. I've played it a couple times through, and the story is so cool.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>I'll put it on my list of games to (re)play. Of course, with the amount on the list already, that means I should get to it in 2013 or so. : )</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Haha, yeah. Replay list games always get bumped by the new games. That's a problem too.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Is that the adaptor that lets you hook it in to the gamecube? When you do that does the resolution get a lot worse?</div>
