  • Where's everyone at in FFXI?

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

<div style='font: bold 10pt ; text-align: left; '>I am currently 23warrior/10monk. Couldn't play all weekend, was in Beijing again, but I got 3 lvls last night so it worked out well.

One note, I WAY prefer grouping with japs over americans. A) they know what they are doing, B) they actually know how to help people out and work well together. I'll struggle for 30min with the translator to get what I know will be a solid group rather than tossing a pickup North American party together any day. Course there are exceptions, but you get what I'm saying. And on tort's mention about twinked chars, haven't really encountered a lot of that yet. I'm guilty of accepting high lvl help, however. I am in a linkshell where everyone is basically already in the 30s or so with their advanced jobs, and they rarely play when I do, so I got some random lvl 54 whm jap to help me get the bloody cloak for my subjob quest :) I plan to do the rest legit :P Levelling in Qufim right now, seems to be a good place. Anyone found a reliable way to make cash at the 20+ levels, since chain armor, etc. costs an arm and a leg? I suppose I could just start up another class and lvl it to 10 and make like 20 or 30K selling crystals, but that just seems like a waste since Ill never use that class again.

Currently Im using Great Axe and 1 handed sword, great axe to lvl with and Im upping 1handed sword for when I switch to Paladin. (warriors are good with axe, paladins are good with sword :P). Fun game, can be frustrating with lvl downs, but I haven't died in 5 lvls or so, so it isn't all that bad.</div>

<div style='font: bold 10pt ; text-align: left; '>On my server they are taking applications to move servers, bismarck is too crowded.... I could try to move over to Valefor (since I never group with my linkshell atm), but what time do you guys play at, etc? Just wanna make sure I wouldn't be wasting my time if I tried... the deadline is Nov.29 for applications.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>You don't get to choose which server you end up on. Everyone from server A will be transfered to designated server B, but you won't know where you go until you're there.</div>
