  • Anyone else playing Baldur's Gate DA:2?  Nothing, new but I'm loving it

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Okay, so the graphics aren't mindblowing, i'm not a graphics whore anyway. The gameplay is repetitive, fine by me as it's damn fun repetition.

You get to choose from 5 much better characters this time around. The enemies are also better, smarter than before. Still stupid, but not vegetable stupid now. Packs of goblins with Wargs can actually hurt you.

Single player i'm lovin the Dwarf/Rogue. It's the accent. Feels like I'm playing with fat bastard.

Multiplayer is superfun. We paired up the cleric and necromancer. Both suck individually, But together are quite formidable.

I like the game, I really don't understand why it scored so low with some reviewers.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>The game could have the graphics of its great grandfather, Gauntlet, and I'd still play it because it's FUN.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Dark Alliance is not comparable to the PC Baldur's Gate games that the Dark Alliance games were named after for name recognition purposes.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>It's Diabloesque hack'n'slash, much more fun MP. There's enough difference in the characters to have some replay value. But I agree that you should rent first.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt ; text-align: left; '>All I remember about Baulder's Gate is having to hit pause and assigning attacks to my units before battle, which was long tedious, and not very fun.</div>

<div style='font: italic bold 14pt ; text-align: center; '>Yeah, it's nowhere near the BG Pc game though. It's more along the lines of Diablo or Gauntlet. run around slashing at things. gameplay isn't very deep but with miltiplayer it's loads of fun.</div>
