<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Holy crap that's a good game!
First it's gorgeous. Probably the best looking game I've ever played. Second, it is bloody hard. I almost forgot how spoiled I am with most games today...it's been so long since I've thrown my controller across the room in happy frustration after a lost boss battle. And this is on 'normal' difficulty. Lastly, it is a deep game with loads of extras. NG is a lot deeper than I expected...and I think that is why some people have difficulty getting in to NG (like zeus...but Tenchu? wth?).
People pick up this game expecting what they've been getting for the last few years, a simple hack n slash ninja game of sorts. They don't immediately understand that Ryu has a huge arsenal of moves and counters at his disposal (you gain more as the game progresses) and you HAVE to use them. Couple that with a camera system that, while it works nicely, takes some practice...and you have a game that'll fail to fully suck you in till the 3rd stage.
Don't just play a demo of this game or the first stage...rent an Xbox if need be and try it out. I can't recommend it enough.
Also, Wrath: Unleashed....reminded me of Brigadine with less RPGish-ness and fighting. I like it, but rent it first...appeals to a select group and not for everyone.</div>
