  • Just wanted to repost this link here, because there's some badass combo videos here...

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

<div style='font: 12pt "Cooper Black"; text-align: left; '>Holy cow that game is just too much visual for me. I've never gotten into MvC, which is a shame because i loved the combo'ness of Killer Instinc and owned at that game.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "EngraversGothic BT", "Copperplate Gothic Light", "Century Gothic"; text-align: left; '>Honestly, I couldn't master the game because keep up with two characters is hard to do. A friend of mine who got to be a real good player said it took a lot of practice.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Is it even possible to master that game? Seriously, hardcore fans of Capcom fighters get slaughtered by button mashers even after 2 years of practice on that game.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "Courier New", Courier; text-align: left; '>That's because the game requires minimal strategy and timing, unlike say, Street Fighter 3 or KOF 2004.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt arial; text-align: left; '>It just pisses me off that the game's got like 800 playable characters and only about 6 of them are any good....eh, welcome to the world of fighting games, I guess.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Not really. The uncommonly used characters are still pretty good. It turns to strategy when you only use melee fighters......but yeah, a lot of them do suck major ass</div>

<div style='font: 11pt arial; text-align: left; '>Yeah, my friends and I play with the others but we've never really been serious about the game, and it seems everyone who IS really serious about the game uses Cable, Sentinel, Magneto, Iron Man, Captain Commando, or Dr. Doom</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Gambit rules and so does war machine. ooh and iceman, but I'll still rape everyone with ryu, ken, akuma, sakura, dan I actually am pretty good with Dan. all his moves suck but his whirlwind kick....</div>

If you lose to a button masher at MvC2 then you're no good at MvC2. It's actually easy to "master" if you will because the strategy isn't deep in the slightest</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "EngraversGothic BT", "Copperplate Gothic Light", "Century Gothic"; text-align: left; '>I doubt it. Even if you were well-known throughout the state/city/area, these are national champions playing here. I've personally see some of them play, and it's as if you don't know shit about the game again when you see them.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "EngraversGothic BT", "Copperplate Gothic Light", "Century Gothic"; text-align: left; '>What's odd about MvC2 is the fact that they basically screwed up the entire Capcom side, but most of Marvel is fine. (An exception would be Capt Commando.)</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "EngraversGothic BT", "Copperplate Gothic Light", "Century Gothic"; text-align: left; '>Oh, really? Most Capcom fighters don't have much in terms of canned combos, so I don't really see any evidence of button mashing friendliness. You start calling VF a button mashing game, and I'll just have to smack you again.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "EngraversGothic BT", "Copperplate Gothic Light", "Century Gothic"; text-align: left; '>Iceman is mad block damage. Of course, that's why people use Dr. Doom, too. And then there's the Spiril/Sentinal combos/traps.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt ; text-align: left; '>Bah people use Doom because when that shield goes up you can't break through it without some sort of beam attack. Sentinal is just a powerhouse.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "EngraversGothic BT", "Copperplate Gothic Light", "Century Gothic"; text-align: left; '>I never see any of the expert players use that. It's mostly about the beam attack and getting up real close to the enemy and doing an aerial finger-laser super.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "EngraversGothic BT", "Copperplate Gothic Light", "Century Gothic"; text-align: left; '>In order to be a button masher game, a button masher would have to be able to defeat a regular player constistantly. That's not happening. BTW, your internal comment is just ignorant, at best.</div>
