<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>I am not really sure the reason behind them ending the series, they were highly successful, some of which selling more than 500,000 copies. There was critisizm from certain sources in Japan saying that the other two series' were released by Nintendo to cash in on the craze instead of for their original purpose, to release the original 10 titles as a 20th anniversary series. After 30 games, and overwhelming success, they are putting hte series on indefinite hold. Personally I'm quite upset, there were a lot of other great titles I would have loved to have seen released. I am very happy so far to see that games like The Legend of Zelda, The Adventure of Link, and Castlevania have been released yet I would be much happier if others like Faxanadu and Castlevania 3 were released. For those who don't know what Faxanadu is: Faxanadu is a similar game to Castlevania 2, it came out around the same time BUT; Castlevania 2: Simons quest turned out to be a terrible game with nearly unusable controls, and almost no depth to the gameplay; Faxanadu was a similar game, but took it to a whole new level, a lot of people bought this game as an alternative to the second Castlevania. Still, Castlevania 3 in my opinion is the best on the system =)
The GBA videophone couldn't have been released at a better time than this. This summer, video cell phones began becoming popular, it seems to be the new "in" thing; and I would say that these phones will be the newest trend in communications technology. This will be an alternative and cheaper means of getting one (since I believe they are priced around $120 USD); for younger people esspecially. The product should be available in North America by the end of the year.</div>
