<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>The only problem with the Master Quest is that the Gamecube control stick is not half as sensitive as the N64 one, and so the controls are a bit more clunky, but it's not a huge deal. Wind Waker is a very smoothly polished game, more so than any other game this generation, but I didn't enjoy it as much as Master Quest. I would rank the game 4th in the series, below Master Quest, Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask (and if you are concerned with game length, than Majora's Mask will easily be your favourite). The 2D Zelda games are all fairly overated from SNES and on; Link to the Past is THE easiest game in the Adventure/RPG genre that is popular. The older Zelda games on NES had a lot more to offer in terms of gameplay. The Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons games are fairly good, but for some reason I didn't find them very memorable, the dungeon design was not at all special while some of the other advancements (like the oracles and different animals and stuff) were excellent; it also has a plot worked into it, and the option to play one game before the other and have them connect into an extended adventure is cool. Link's Awakening was fairly good, I liked it a lot better than Link to the Past, it is arguably the best 2D Zelda game, it's kind of like Link to the Past with some actual challenge added to it, and some additional gameplay features.
But anyways, Wind Waker is still an excellent game. Ocarina of Time is considered to be the best game ever made by a lot of people, critics included; that's an almost impossible bar to jump, it's been 6 years now. There's just a lot more cool stuff in Ocarina of Time. I have a bit of faith that the new Zelda game will do it though, it has a better development team, and has been worked on for twice as long as Wind Waker, very likely a lot more money put into it. It also takes place in Hyrule again, FINALLY, if any game will surpass Ocarina of Time in this generation, it will be this next game; it will be 5 years in the works on its release date.</div>
