  • This was a worthwhile little impulse buy.

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

Woot.

Basically, I was faced with wanting a new gamepad for my PC, largely for emulation purposes, but they're occasionally handy for other games as well. Problem is, to get a decent PC gamepad, you've got to shell out a decent bit of cash.

Someone pointed me to that thing, so I ordered it.

Little bugger works like a charm. Just played a few rounds of Super Metroid and F-Zero with my old PS1 non-Dual-Shock pad. The rumble effect works too, though I've only tested in the config screen as I don't have any force feedback games.

Worth a look if you're looking for a gamepad. Might save you a few bucks.

All the good PC controllers are just PSX rip-offs, too. May as well save money and play with the real thing. Good call.

Got one made by Yobo years ago. It's so great I wonder why I haven't seen these around more. Emulation gaming is way more enjoyable, particularly for the SNES since the design is so similar. It doesn't support the rumble feature (though the makers said it did, I think), but most of the games I play with it don't require it anyway.
