Nintendogs also looks like an awesome game.

Also, there is a new GBA model available, one that is the size of an i-pod and has the bightest screen of any of their systems to date.

Gamecube. There is an AWESOME 3D RTS announced. Battalion Wars. I think I am sold on that one.

The press conference finished, there seems to be more to come as E3 unfolds.

Anyways, the biggest news of the conference I would say is the announcement that the Revolution will play ALL previously released Nintendo console titles; all you have to do is download them. That alone sells me on the system.

That has got to be one of the coolest features I've heard of.

They haven't stated yet whether or not you can download content for free or not.

I can see maybe giving free downloads for unlocking certain things in one of their games. For some of their older titles, like Mario Bros. or Donkey Kong.

N64 + I think they'll probably have some form of payment per download going on. No idea about SNES, as some of those titles are still might profitable to N as they port them to the GBA.

Still, looks like a nifty little machine. Plus, they should be able to sell it a HELL of a lot cheaper than the other 2 machines.

Yeah, one of the things that he went over was that they were very focussed on price. They want their system to be the cheapest to develop for, as well as the cheapest prices on games to the consumers. What I am wondering is what the specifications of the system are, none were announced. Which either means they are not final or that they are higher than the competition. Difficult to say, though I do not think it will really matter a great deal; no developer will be able to afford to even come close to maxing out the next generation technology; you could make games lifelike on those thigns; in fact, I do not think that they maxed out this generation even.

If that's true, and they're not priced too high, that alone sells me on the system too. Finally...no more scrounging for non-broken SNES's to play Tetris Attack! Come to think of it, I might as well get Pokemon Puzzle League while I'm at it and go four-player...

I'm having a hard time imagining the licensing issues inherent in offering all software available on the platform.

I'll remain skeptical, though if it's something like all first party titles it wouldn't surprise me. Still, if that's actually what happens, it'd be a major, major coup.

DL'ing old games (even if they are 5-30 bucks) is awesome! Lets hope its true, i may have to wait buying one of the new systems until they are all released for about a month.

I take that back. The hand in the picture makes it seem kinda large, but it is only 4 inches long, 2 inches tall, and under an inch thick.

Sony PSP is 6.7 inches long, 3 inches tall, and under an inch thick... just for comparison.

Yeah, it's called a Dreamcast. $30 total at Ebay, probably cheaper if you find one locally.
