Heh, I've only done about 3 of the story missions, and I'm already at level 42. Those special Spectre weapons kick ass. (You have to get a million credits to get access, I believe.) All of that exploring pays off with the weapons to sell/use and many credits that you get from minerals, items, artifacts, etc.

BTW, Chris, what system is that has the garage in it? I can't find it anywhere. (Of course, the game like to hide systems until you heard something about it.)

After I'm done with this, I'm going to create a bitch named German. Can you even go the lesbian route with the romance (besides the Consort), or do you have to settle for the male characters? Can you still piss off your crew and go that route? (Heh, the more assholish they are, the more the ladies like it.) Is being a xenophobe the best way to get Renegade points?

He lies. There is no such thing. The ability to upgrade the Mako was cut from the game.

You can scissor the shit out of Liara.

And a murderer. And a liar... just pick the cruelest things possible if your aim to to max the renegade meter.

Anyone tell me wtf those "licenses" that I picked up all the time were? Most cases they were cheap items market as "unique" that mentioned being licenses for the Normandy Quartermaster or something... did they just unlock items to buy?

Yes. You buy extra shit from the quartermaster in the basement.

Damn, I didn't get the Leroy ref. That's radical.

When does Kaiden reference Carth? Aside from being a goody-goody homo.

I just did the Armstrong geth hunt... man that took a long time. This playthrough (hardcore) was pretty fucking difficult early on, but thankfully you can buy the Spectre weapons. Once I bought the pistol for Shepard, the assault rifle for Ashley, and the shotgun for Wrex, I've been raping the shit out of everybody. Probably doesn't hurt that this time around I'm actually forced to play TACTICALLY instead of my soldier playthrough which went more like Gears of War... on easy.

One thing I'd like to see for DLC: a planet that isn't 90% jagged mountain.

Punching the reporter=LOL.

I never really spoke to Ashley much last game (as I was a soldier then, and female so I couldn't nail her), but I really, really dig that bitch.

hahaha

as I said.......it's all about some of the choices as long as you don't cut off conversations to early....you can do that so sometimes it's best to choose the middle option a couple times......then you can smack a bitch

Ashley's a God-fearing xenophobe, not my cup of tea. It looks like I'm going to be boning Liara both as a male and female, since I'm going after her as a male, and Ashley isn't down with the bisexual gig.

Besides, the blue bitch is hot. Actually, most of the Asaris are fucking hot. It's like they use the same model with some minor changes.

The only time I've heard her bring up God is that one conversation and she says she's not a zealot or anything, she just believes in him. I've enjoyed her comments much more when talking to NPCs. Also, my renegade Shepard is an alien hater as well. Still, too bad there's no threesome option... or Normandy gangbang.

I dunno. my sheppard really wanted some 4 testicle krogan action.....why is there some gay alien loving....why point out the 4 testicles If I can't have them.

Actually kind of like Ashleys character. she doesn't hate aliens...she just doesn't trust them. she hates xenophobes

I blew my chance to do Ashley, I think. She was with me the whole time, I was nice to her sometimes, and harsh others (I thought she'd like it)... Don't know if you have to do Paragon or not (I'm full renegade with a bit of paragon). I thought I went through her whole dialog tree, but there were times she wouldn't talk to me when she should have. I should mention I was also leading on Liara, but I really only spoke to her on the ship twice, once telling her I was interested... dammit. I wanted to get the scene where the two of them fight over Shepard, but I guess that'll have to wait until the next game.

One thing that annoys me with new game+ is that you have to keep the same job class... which means if I want to get the level 50 and 60 achievements I'll have to do it with a character I've already gotten the skill achievements with. I'll just need to get the biotic ones after I'm finished with thie playthrough, but I won't be able to get to 60 in that game. Arrrrrgh!

Didn't know that if you get your Mastery, you can use it on new characters. I think I'm going to recreate my renegade character after I get this Singularity mastered. I created a generic character specify to level up to the point that I can Singularity. Then I can just map it, cast it every minute (while I'm trying this message), and then recreate my character.

I think it would be pretty kickass to have a soldier with that skill, considering the armor/weapons, and that skill that recharges all of your skills again.

Let me know if that works. A Bioware employee on their boards said they have to be casted sucessfully on something to count. I've seen reports to the contrary elsewhere, though.

it doesn't wrk. I thought I would master it quick by casting it over and over and over. it doesn't have to "hit" an enemy but it has to be cast in a range that would effect an enemy (in other words you can cast it repeatedly on immune enemies and the skill will still go up

Well, I do know that certain skills do work in that context. I got the Masteries of Overload, Barrier, and Sabotage by just casting it on the ground. A FAQ also mentioned that Lift will work on the ground, too. However, I was also trying to get Throw and Neutral Shock to work, but it seems like it wasn't triggering (doing these at the same time as the other three).

Were you trying Singularity on the ground or some other skill? I was watching TV for about 90 minutes or so, and casting it over and over again. In theory, I should have cast it 90 times, but I figured that I might have been late on some presses. If it's unconfirmed to have worked, I'll try it again for another hour or so, to see if I get it.

Got it! I am now the proud owner of a red-headed evil bitch of a soldier with the best biotic in the game. Only took me about 2-3 hours of game time:

1. Start a Biotic and zip through the dialog.
1. Get to as far into the game until you get Tali. This will get you enough XP to get Singularity.
2. Find a battle (outside the Citadel) where you can still hide and the enemy won't find you, then map/cast Singularity over and over again.

I think the game only checks for a battle in progress. I first tried it on those Husks, but they just zoom in on you, and trying to dodge them for 75 minutes while casting Stasis/Singularity on the Husk isn't my idea of a good time. I was on the probe/bomb mission, and killed all but one pirate. You have to have your crew really far away, and the pirate probably shouldn't be actively trying to fire you. They can destroy crates, so hiding behind them is out, too.

I managed to Stasis him and get behind a tent. After he came out of it, he didn't try to go around, and just stood there. So I cast it over and over again near him, but not enough to affect him. (Otherwise, he would drop and get killed.)

Either that, or I just didn't cast it enough the first time (as soon as I got it).

Bathrooms, you almost never see in any game, especially RPGs. But, children, yeah, now that you mention it. That is really bizarre.
