No, it's just a matter of giving the gamers what they want. These days we all love ourselves some achievements. If this was Microsoft being intimidating then it'd be like Fallout 3 where you actually tie into an XBL account to play.


On another note-- Shrin, Bovine and I attempted Expert tonight... it's pretty harsh, haha. FF hurts a lot, and even a NORMAL zombie hurting you causes 20pts of damage. It's very unforgiving and you're basically playing the whole time paranoid about getting hit. Tanks are even more brutal too. We tried a few times... the farthest we got was on No Mercy right before the hospital, just couldn't get to the safe house. Granted most of the time we didn't have a 4th person, but still... very brutal. No wonder this is its own achievement.

Actually he's serious... somewhere along the line Sine did a 180 on keyboard/mouse vs controller. I don't understand it either. This from the guy who used to claim up and down that FPS's could only be played on a PC.

It's weird. I got use to it and it works better with my HDTV setup. Aiming is a bit more interesting, but it's almost as good as a mouse. I suppose when/if I move my PC off of the HDTV, I might go back to the mouse.
