How many people are getting Metroid Prime Hunters at launch?

This game takes the multiplayer mode quite a few steps further than any other multiplayer game on the DS has done.

Some new features have been annouced such as advanced stat tracking which will track a ton of different sorts of stats including how many shots fired, how many steps taken, how many enemies killed, how many enemies killed with bombs, how many enemies killed with other various types of weapons, etc....

Voice Chat is another very interesting feature, this will be the first game on the DS to take advantage of this capability with the DS as it will likely become a standard before too long.

There are also many different multiplayer game modes, which is normal for Nintendo released shooters, but multiplayer isn't the only thing the game is about. The single player mode is looking to be the BEST single player mode in the history of the series by far; and the developers assure that it is HUGE. It takes the formula of an already great game, Metroid Prime, and adds so much more to it. For example:

Each game will be slightly different for each player depending on how the enemy AI reacts, since what is going on around Samus now is not all that is going on in the game.

For the first time in the history of the series you will be able to pilot Samus's ship to various different explorable planets.

Another even more interesting feature is that the other bounty hunters within the game. These bounty hunters actually have the ability to go in and take certain artifacts before you have the chance to get them. The other bounty hunters can travel to other planets themselves and take the artifacts with them.

With the touch screen in combination with the trigger button available for aiming, Hunter's will have the best aiming control of any console shooting game in history.

One thing I really enjoyed about Prime were the rich and beautiful stages that were placed into the game. One thing that I always disliked about shooting games was that the worlds were relatively sterile (which, unfortunately, the First Hunt Demo seems to have), but this is not the case in the Prime series. As soon as I saw screenshots of the different environments in Hunters, including the Ice World, I immediately fell in love with the game.

Anyways, if anyone here is getting the game at launch, then I think we should try to set up some multiplayer thing as soon as possible.

Some more news:

In an interview with one of the developers on IGN it was stated that the single player mode of Metroid Prime Hunters is quite long, it will probably take about the same length or a little shorter than Metroid Prime for most players, but that area within the game itself is about four times larger.

Neither Prime nor Prime 2 tickled my shithole, so I don't think this will either. But then again, there's like... nothing interesting coming out for the DS until that FF3 remake, so who knows.

I really don't know how I'd feel if a game tickled my shithole. At the very least, I hope it would understand if I didn't want to have my shithole tickled.

If it was an exceptionally attractive game, though, with long hair and perky, full bosoms, I might not mind!

There's also a Tetris game coming out on the 20th, I haven't looked into what the game is like though. I'd recommend getting Metroid instead though. Please? =)

I'm looking forward to both Hunters and Tetris DS, so I'll probably end up getting both of them within a week of launch.

I'm not a huge fan of Tetris though. I'm mainly only into strategy, simulation, and adventure games. That doesn't mean I won't be playing Tetris, it's a popular game, I know enough people with DS's that likely I'll be able to get my hands on a borrowed copy in no-time.
