• Zelda DS announced - with trailery goodness!

 • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

So Nintendo announced the development of a Zelda game for DS (subtitled Phantom Hourglass - my goodness, the subtitle doesn't have the initials DS!) at GDC today, due out later this year (before TP???) and British Gaming Blog snagged a nifty trailer:

Man, am I glad I got this system. :)

Also, Kotaku has a vid that was taken from a cameraphone (or something) in the audience. The quality is for shit, but it's really nifty to hear the crowd's reactions to everything. Gave me goosebumps.

Yeah, I saw that on Kotaku. I had tears. :)

I can't wait.

I was checking out the pics of the Revolution on IGN also. Wow. :)

Hmm. Metroid and Zelda. They know my weakness.

Throw a new Super Mario Bros on top of that and you're basically forced to buy one, huh? :-)

It's a serious possibility when the Lite comes out here.

Lite is launching with the new Super Mario Brothers game on the 15th of May. I am going to pick one up and sell my old DS (the bidding is up to 51 dollars).

There is a video on IGN DS of the new Zelda game:

It looks quite good. I particularly like how when travelling on the sea you use the stylus to trace a course and then you can do all the action stuff as you move forward. The boomerang usage looks awesome too.

That's what I meant, Seek. Usually, only you would declare a game in maybe the most revered series' of all time and one you've never played as the best ever in the series (or one of the best ever)

I was jokin', man :-)

Although the group who rank Link to the Past as the best game in the series is considerably smaller than the group who rank Ocarina of Time as the best game in the series.
