I know of more good April Fools' jokes that get spoiled because people have no sense of humor. And I'm not terribly surprised that it was a churchgoer who mistook an April Fools' prank for a terrorist threat, either. (/cynicism)

Re-read. It didn't say someone going to church saw the package on the church steps. It only said that a "concerned citizen" saw it and called the police. Most churches where I live are quite out in the open and are visible to the rest of the non-church goers. In fact, the linked article in this one says it was a passerby. Be cynical if you'd like, but please don't make assumptions just to insult church goers. But anyway, in regards to the article, that's the most retarded thing ever. I can understand if people got freaked out because they had no idea the boxes were from a game, but there's no reason to press charges. The girls didn't mean any harm and none came from it. Ah well.
