I do agree with them on a lot of them. But I also disagree on a few points, for starters:

1) I disagree with them ranking the cutscene where Arthas stabs his father Terenas in Frozen Throne, mainly because it happened in Reign of Chaos =P
2) I disagree with them on spelling Seifer's name as Seipher.

Alright, so the PS2 IGN guys might be a bit on the slow side for a professional gaming site. To add, they completely missed the Parasite Eve opening scene in their rankings. This doesn't mean we can't list our own favourites.

So, for starters, I like the opening to Parasite Eve. I do also really like the opening to Final Fantasy 8, and of course, Arthas succeding his father to the throne =P

My favourite cutscene in Final Fantasy 8 is the ending though. Final Fantasy 9 also has quite a few really cool ones as well.

I <3 Suikoden 3 and 5 intros

Yea yea, I know Suikoden 3 intro is done in anime, but it still looks nice :p

I knew Diablo II would be on there.

Suiko 3 still has the best intro of anything I've seen. I was pretty unimpressed by 5's, and 4's was kinda lame. I watched the Suikogaiden intros on Youtube and they're pretty cool too.

Heh, I haven't seen the Diablo one, I'll check it out on Youtube sometime.

Heh, the Skies of Arcadia vieo caused me to start playing the game again. It is still my favourite RPG years after its release =)

So far as CGs go, I thought FFX2's Thousand Words CG is better than anything else by far. Sure quality-wise Kingdom Hearts is just as good but everything in the movie fits together perfectly.

Hmmm, I haven't actually seen all the CG in FFX-2, I would play through the game, but I don't think that I'll have time for that one for quite some time. There is already too much to play and it will just increase this fall. Youtube is a blessing at times like this =)

It may take some more thought to make sure I got it right, but off the top of my head, I have to go with the infamous scene from Warcraft III with Arthas. One of those holy shit OMFG-I'm-unworthy Blizzard cinematics:

I love how in WoW they have that same bell and it's on the ground fallen and broken, and the throne room has the sounds from that FMV playing in it. Arthas is badass.

We're doing Naxx now can't wait to get to Kel'Thuzzad and see Arthas(Who's there in a Sith-like way)
