PSP online capabilities?

So I just bought Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max for the PSP, and of course it has that basic local area wireless thing going on, but I know emulators that run this game almost flawlessly online. I was just thinking to myself how much replay value alot of PSP games could have if you could play these cross country, and why AREN'T these games able to be played online, via wireless internet.

Yeah, it would be awesome if more games supported it.

Like, Liberty City Stories, for instance. I don't know anyone else with that game. Only using ad hoc multiplayer makes it worthless to me.

Sony wouild need to invest in, build, and implament some sort of infrastructure to get games to work over long distances. I suppose they arent willing to do that, but they friggin should.
