Assassin's Creed is the only exclusive title that looks very interesting on the at this time. Anyone here who gets one should keep an eye out for this title next holiday season. The game is coming along so well, that there should be no surprise if other versions of the game appear around the various video game systems in 2008 and 2009.

You are a little off there...it's already been confirmed for the 360.

I'm afraid Ubisoft is not aware of this "confirmation."
Who made it?

And I'm afraid you are confusing yourself with Ubisoft. Ubisoft announced AC for both the PC and the 360. As for a link, I'm too lazy. Check yourself at gamespot or IGN, somewhere around Sept. 1st.

Ah, that is correct, it isn't on their list as confirmed titles yet (so I missed it), but they did announce their plans for a PC and Xbox 360 version of the game.
Well, that makes things easier, I already have a PC likely capable of playing the game =)
Though if I do get an Xbox 360 before the game's release, then I will get it for the system instead (PC issues can be quite annoying sometimes).

That's kinda funny, because it seems like there's really no such thing as exclusive games any more. Most of the time, it's on two of the three systems, and on the computer. Even then, a popular game will fill the gap after they get their sales for the "exclusive" two consoles.

I think that with development costs for games now being so high, publishers can no longer afford to develop for one system or the other exclusively. Also, there's no reason to leave that money just sitting on the table, given that both the PS3 and the 360 are going to have significant customer bases, and that most big game studios are going to have the resources to develop cross-platform libraries.
