I bought a used copy about a year ago for about $7, and I realized later on when I was playing it that has a stratch. So, I wanted to buy another copy, and now it's fucking $35 minimum.

I don't suppose anybody has a copy that they could loan me?

Yeah, it's not difficult to find a new copy almost anywhere in Canada. For some reason it was much more popular here than in the US, close to a third of the North American sales were in Canada.

The EB games here has a copy (or copies) of Final Fantasy Tactics, Xenogears, Chrono Cross, Final Fantasy 7, 8, and 9, Vagrant Story, and Parasite Eve. Pretty much any RPG released for Square on PSX is available here. What's more, is that those are like the only PSX titles that are available brand new still. They are all 20 bucks a piece, so you can probably find them cheaper in the US somewhere.

yeah, but they only make so many and they run out, making even the Greatest Hits collector's items. See SotN and FF7

Hmmmm, if it does, I do predict that there is in fact a remake of it in the works. It would make perfect sense. Just like when the Phoenix Wright prices went crazy. The expected Phoenix Wright to sell a few copies, just to test the market for this style of game. They had no idea that all the copies would sell out, and that the going price would be over a hundred dollars.

Although due to the new memory cards and stuff for DS, I predict that software will not be as successful for the DS in the future. You can essentially download and play all DS and GBA ROMS that you want, and actually play them on the DS. Though, online games tend to be a nuisance.

Oh yeah? Can you find me a ROM of translated versions of Mother 1 & 2 and Mother 3? They're never gonna release those games here and I REALLY want to play them
