That's my thread earlier on Elite Beat Agents.

It is a great game, VERY bad release date, right in the middle of perhaps the biggest release season in videogame history. It is a game that will be forgotten, and once people recognize its greatness, it will be too late to get any copies of it.

Seriously though, there are more major games being released between August and December than any other time period in history. I think only some periods during the mid 90's could even compare; you know, back when games like Mario RPG, Donkey Kong Country, Chrono Trigger, Earthbound, Sonic, etc... were all coming out around the same time.

Guitar Hero 2 is a pretty good sequel. The single player game is almost the exact same, so much that a lot of the loading screen sayings are the same. I like the new training mode, it's a perfect addition. And obviously the new multiplayer modes are an excellent addition and will just make it that much more accessible and easy to play with your friends since you can play on different settings. And I like the Co-op as opposed to just Battle, that's great.

One minor change they made which is huge IMO is making the hammer-ons and pull-offs not impossible to pull off. I couldn't for the life of me get them in the original game but now I hit them regularly. I'm going through right now on Hard to get used to the songs and I'm actually able to incorporate them into my regular playing, something I couldn't do before 'cause it ws SOO sensitive regarding whether or not you did it. It may ultimately make the game easier but at least I don't have to strum like crazy during some insane solo parts anymore.

It's $5 more Cdn for the bundle than the original.

This one is a little more hit and miss. More known good songs but also a lot of "just there" songs. They stuck more to newer songs they liked rather than great classics from what I can tell so far (only unlocked 20)
