Tales of Phantasia Advance - Cream my jeans with goodness improvements. I liked the game via emulator and I lovedthis playthrough again. great times.

Tales of Symphonia - I love this game. always have and the replay was just as fun as the first time I had played seeing as how it had been forever since I touched it and forgot everything that happened.

Tales of Legendia - Good lord it's a great game. I don't know why either. I just loved this game. fun and built on an already good sytem just enough to keep it fresh and fun. plus some of the environments were amazing...plus. WOohoo I just beat the game......oh wait no....there is a second one now. Loved that.

Starting the new one as soon as I finish my current game.

Speaking of being layed out for another couple weeks though......anyone know if terranigma is available on virtual console? Getting the web hooked up in a couple days and sooooo want to play that game on a tee vee

Final Fantasy V Advance - fun times. Only about half way through as I'm splitting time between this and Final fantasy 3. Forgot how fun it was though. plus there is nothing better to do when yer bored in the bathroom or whatnot than powerlevelling job points.

Final Fantasy 3 DS - Great game. great fucking game. like it even more now that characters actually have personality rather than being the old nintendo 2x4 with no actual character. fun times. Plus I love when you got the escort in there and they pop up and so some silly attack then dissapear.....cool beans yo

Final Fantasy 12 - Good lord that was the best final fantasy game in a long long long logn time. First time I've been fully happy with a game purchase.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance - Damn. That was awesome. There is nothing more fun than just using cap, throwing his sheild and just having it fly circles around you like some kind of sheild. great game. although the ease of the bosses really knocks it down a couple notches. I still prefer x-men legends 2 although still it has thor and with my rabbid obsession with norse mythology.....fun times. although I keep using alrternate costumes for everyone. Vengeance and Beta Ray Bill. it's all about Beta Ray Bill.....

Justice League Heroes - Fun. NOt an amazing game but still fun. for a comic nerd like me It got a couple play throughs for me to unlock everything. even thogh once I opened Green Arrow I didn't touch anyone else. exploding arrows are just waaaaay to overpowered....w00t. combine that with superman heatvision and the game takes like 2 hours total...

Skies of Arcadia Legends - Good god I forgot how good this game was. I donm't think I need to say anything that hasn't already been said by most of us here....seeker most vocally. But possibly my favorite RPG of all time.....

Valkyrie Profile 2 - currently playing it now but it's freaking grand. as I said. I have somewhat of an obsession with norse mythology going on right now. partly because of a bok I'm working on has had me studying my balls off about it and it really is interesting. so far about 30 hours in the story is great. The game just looks amazing. and the battle system is really fun to play around with. easy to pick up and play but hard to master. IF things keep going this way I may just play through again..... again

See, that's TWO of us who have played the emulator version and the GBA version, and TWO of us who agree the improvements are good. They always talk about the GBA version as though it were a downgraded version of the SNES game, which is ludicrous for anyone who has (actually) played both. I liked the original, and I really love Tales of Phantasia Advance as well =)

I need to play Symphonia, I have it, have not got around to it. It has often been called the best one, but I think, despite its primitiveness, Tales of Phantasia will always remain 'the game' in my heart.

And yeah, Skies of Arcadia, it is still my favourite RPG, and safely far ahead in first. It is a game that reminds me of how I felt with Chrono Trigger, only to a greater degree. I think Skies of Arcadia will be like Earthbound, Faxanadu, Castlevania 3, and Final Fantasy: it will be a game I will always go back to.

I really want to try Valkyrie Profile 2, the graphics are absolutely beautiful; this is an example of a game that may not have the most advanced graphics, but can still look a lot more appealing than Final Fantasy 13; for example.

Yeah, no kidding. I like the offhand way you mentioned it, too. Not "I just had a heart attack", but "Hey everyone look at all these great RPGs I was playing when I had that teensy weensy spot of bother where my heart stopped."

Reminds me of the time one of my friends had a brain tumor, and she told us all about it the day before she was due to get surgery. "Sorry guys, I guess I can't go bowling with you after all, I just have to get my skull drilled open to have this brain tumor out."

What the fuck happened?

I got a chronic heart condition....flars up every once and a while. knocks me out for a couple weeks or more every time. has caused 2 heart attacks.....fun times. sucks balls.
