It's up, in case you guys hadn't noticed yet.

And the first thing I did was go to YouTube. And.....it worked! I was very happy to see that. Plus, the pages load very fast and I didn't notice very many misaligned text or images.

There are some kinks to work out in the browser though. The zooming feature needs to have more granularity. On HomestarRunner.com, if you zoom in, you can't see the whole screen. I also want the option to auto-hide the little menu at the bottom. The last thing would be a way to clear my cache and stuff like that. On YouTube, if you stop a video from loading in the middle, it won't load that video the entire way anymore. I think that's because it is reading from the memory cache first. If there was a way to clear this in the browser, that'd be nice.

But, I know I'll get some use out of this when I have friends over. We love watching videos on YouTube.

Opera is spectacular. I only use the PC version, but it kicks the almighty tar out of both Firefox (it's a bit more stable and less prone to hijack), and IE (which is still a pile of slow, backdoor-ridden, monopolistic affrontery).

It's still the beta version. I imagine at some point you'll probably get a message on your Wii to fill out a survey to tell them the pluses and minuses of the browser. Since Nintendo's fairly new at this, here's a hope they'll break a long-standing company policy actually try and listen to their fans rather than ignoring them. They need to play catch-up in the online thing and one of the best ways to gather info is just to ask for it.

I personally can't really see what the big difference is between browsers, they all seem to work fine for me. I normally use IE though since Firefox and Opera do not function correctly on some sites, IE always does.

Only Microsoft sites and some Frontpage sites. For a lot my sites, Firefox loads faster and stops a lot of the junk (ie. ads and crap) from loading, which I like

I would bet not. I'll be extremely happy and surprised if it does though. :)
