Something for me to play while the Burning Crusader servers are crashing all day. :)

I think I'm going to buy stock in Coke and Hostess on Monday morning. The sheer amount of junk food consumed the 4 weeks following the release of that game is going to be severely vast

Wii or DS? I still need to grab the first one.

Just to clarify, I am IN LOVE with this game, the series as a whole, so far, is just excellent.

And Sine, yeah, the first one should be played first, it is where the story begins.

yeah both should be played. I only just finished the second case but I am loving it so far. just as cute and adorable as the last game. a ton of references to the first in conversation as well....now I'm really wanting to find out about edgey.....I miss him.....

This one builds right off of the last one. I have been kind of hard on Capcom in the past, but I really have to hand it to them for giving me one of my favourite game series ever.

As I have said before, I would love to see more games like this one. A game based on the TV series House, in this format, would be one I would buy. I also think that graphical adventures would be a good format for book-video game conversions. I know that was the way they did Lord of the Rings in the 70's and early 80's, but now they could do it so much better with the knowledge they have on games.

There is another graphical adventure that just came out called Hotel Dusk: Room 255, it is receiving great reviews so far.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xvG1JCe05Ss It is in the style of Trace Memory (same dev team) only hugely improved upon according to the reviewers. It looks very good. I am picking it up first chance I get.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNygDdAJ8uc Here's a very funny video, same one I posted in M&M by the way.

PS. This game has been my main title for playing since I got it, I am currently on the second case. Lets just say there is much more going on here than any of the previous cases before it (in both volumes). If the jump from episode 2 to episode 3 is any indication; episode 4 should be massive. My only dissapointment is that they didn't implement the upgrades from Ace Attorney Episode 5 into this game (well, at least not yet, I don't expect they will otherwise they would have been implemented by episode 2, since there was a portion when fingerprints were involved).

Other than that, Episode 2 really shines, it feels bigger, and has much more to do in it. The characters are all very interesting so far. I would like to say that just about everything about this game is better than the first, but using the first as a point of comparison at this point wouldn't be fair since it's been months since I last played it, and over a year since I first played it.

How does this game stack up to others I have played recently? Well, lets just say that it is consuming all my time for single player games (including the awesome games that are the Total War series and Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess). I will admit, that since getting it I dabbled a bit with Super Castlevania and Twilight Princess, but certainly spent less time on those games than I have on Phoenix Wright lately.

Just my humble opinion but: The Phoenix Wright series has the best characters of any videogame series ever.

Just a fair warning. This game seems to be a bit harder than the last one. I have failed a few times so far on the third case. It is mainly just because there is a lot more to think about. This case is toughly the same difficulty as case #5 in the first game (which was incidently my favourite, though I think most like #4 the best). Though still, if you played this game every day in the first few hours o the morning when thinking is sharpest (at least for me) it shouldn't be a problem. I just have the tendency to play it just before I go to bed =P

It is a good alternative for reading a regular book. Which is probably why I find the game so much fun.

good lord case 4 is a tough cookie. harder than a bitch.....I've been investiga ting trying to break psyche locks forever...hair pullingly crazy

I'm still not through three yet, it will probably take me a month to get through 4, I hear it is ultra long.

Shite! I had some difficulty with 3 so far =P

I think 4 will take me a month+ =P

Though, I agree, part 3 is "cute" so to speak. I am enjoying it though. It had one of the most hillarious scenes in the series (the comment Maya made about Regina when Phoenix said something about having a crush on her). Is part 4 of this game more like part 4 and 5 in the last game? How is it? You know, without spoiling anything.

I am in Trial 4. Trial 3 was crazy! I didn't think it was incredibly difficult, but there were a few parts that had me going nuts. A couple times in the trial, I basically presented the correct evidence with luck. :)

I haven't gotten far into Trial 4 yet, though it looks like it's going to be cool.

Btw, I love Pearls. :)

nothing like that in part 4 yet. I'm to the trial now though finally....there is so much searching you have to do and investigating it took me forever.....still at the start of the trial though but man.....they really make you dig for contradictions this time out

Beat it, really fun game. :)

I did get stuck at 2 different parts in trial 4 before the final witness and during the final witness. Overall I enjoyed it. ^_^

I finally beat the first one today.... Wow was that last level long. Also, I picked up some weird romantic vibes between Edgeworth and Wright at the end..... adorable, but ultimately too "Lord of the Rings" for me

I'm thinking that I'm pretty much at the end of Part 4 and there hasn't been any additional stuff you can do (like the 3-D evidence view or dusting for fingerprints). I really hope there is a 5th case and that you can do all that stuff. I was hoping they'd just start out with those abilities since this was a sequel.

It says on the box, 4 episodes =P

Yeah, I REALLY enjoyed the 5th episode of volume 1, it wasn't a part of the main story, but I found it to be easily the most enjoyable episode of them all.

Yeah, from what I've seen there are only 4 cases, so I was hoping for a surprise. Like an encore. I'll be a little disapointed if there isn't a 5th.

I'm pretty sure this is still a GBA port. From what I remember there were a few W games on the gba that are coming to us now.....hopefully we get em all so they can start making new ones....but the lack of a 5th case seems like a rush job to me

Yeah, that's how I feel. The game just won't feel complete with only 4 cases.

And the sucky thing is that I'm at the last (literally, I think) choice of case 4. And I have no idea what evidence to present!

So like, I picked up the first Phoenix Wright. This game is a total cake walk compared to the 2nd one heh.

Yeah, it is easier for sure, I've been stuck more times by far in the second than I was in the first. Although I think I remember the first time through episode 5 being quite difficult.

Always check www.gamemp3s.net after a game's release or about a week afterwards. And I mean Jap release. Those guys seem to put up most stuff and I'm sure they had PW2 on there at some point.

Thanks for the site Zeus. :)

Beat the 5th bonus case, was really cool, liked how it took advantage of the DS's little capabilities, nothing complex but cool, nice preview of what the 4th game might have in store.

Too bad the 4th game doesn't have Phoenix as the main character =/

Yeah, Episode 5 of part 1 was my favourite case so far, I really enjoyed all of the characters and stuff in it. Of course, I have yet to play Episode 4 of volume 2. So we will see, I plan to start that today. I am still in the earlier stages of the world of ruin of FF6, I just got Cyan.
