Anyone pick up Lost Planet?

I got to check out both the online and offline demos, and I have to say I was impressed by what I saw. I've been debating getting the game for a while but I think I'll be picking it up this weekend. Supposedly the mutiplayer aspect kicks ass, and the SP, while nothing spectacular (<10 hours and the story is a joke) is worth playing through. Too bad there's no co-op mode though, I loved that aspect in Gears of War (which was the reason I ended up getting a 360).

the girlfriend (deborah, who is AMAZING if I didn't let anyone know that earlier) picked this game up for me on the birthday (along with phoenix wright) and I was a little iffy about it... that's why I didn't buy it for myself. Upon actually playing it, it was pretty awesome. Great graphics and semi-arcady style of play (shoot a billion bugs..... and continue). With my 360 out of commission it is really all I want to play. I haven't touched the multiplayer yet (because I'm a big pussy when it comes to playing multiplayer... I hate getting my ass kicked)

I'll probably just rent it or buy it used... later. I liked the demos enough, but I still have yet to beat FF12, I just rented Bully, and SotN on Xbox Live and FFVI Advance are coming very soon.

I really had fun with the offline demo, but the reviews have been a little mixed...

With the 2007 lineup on the way, I'm in no hurry to buy games I'm "ify" on.
