I'm now going to do everything I can to screw them as often as I can. They do nothing but molest the consumer.

So you are enraged to insane levels because they raised the price of a system that no one really wants?

No, I'm enraged at them 'cause the ones they screw over are the consumers who don't know better, the mothers and the fathers of the kids. They pulled the same shit a few years back where they had their DVDs at 10% off but then raised all their prices from their normal, everyday prices to MSRP, which is insanely high. It's preying on the consumer that I don't like. People like me who know the prices won't get caught it's those who don't know that'll get caught by stuff like this.
So I punish them the only way they care about: take money away from them. ANY price matching I can do, even for $1 I do. And I'm just waiting for them to make a mistake somewhere else so I can screw them.

Futureshop has a policy to match the lowest price on any existing product. I got s 72 inch plasma TV from them for 300 bucks last year, as well as a 3.2 ghz PC (ith a gig of ram and 160 GB hard drive) from them two years ago for 350 bucks.

Zeus : You officially now hate Futureshop as well. Futureshop is owned by Best Buy. Best Buy entered Canada as an artificial competitor to Futureshop.
I'm not saying you shouldn't hate both of them, because I sure as hell do (especially after working for Best Buy). I'm just stating something that you may or may not have already known.

I don't keep receipts (I got it boxing day 2005), but I can show you a picture of the TV.

But for $300 ? Which brand and model # is it? A TV that size, and in plasma flavour nonetheless, for $300? Hell even $3000 would be a friggin steal.

It must be EDTV, or an outright lie.

He bought it for $300 the same day he got his medical degree and broke up with his longtime girlfriend to become a player-slash-trust-fund-kid.
PICS OF EVERYTHING NAO!

I don't have anything to add, I'd just like to register my amusement at Seeker's ridiculous claim.

Oh I know. And trust me, I play them off of each other and force them to price match CONSTANTLY. I got Futureshop to price match Best Buy on Kingdom Hearts 2 which dropped the price from $55 to $16.50 (Best Buy was at $20 and they had to give an extra 10% off the diff, which is $3.50). And I got Futureshop to price match Walmart on Final Fantasy 5 Advance to drop it from $40 to $14.50. I do it all the time.
But I need to find a way to Ish them even worse. If there's anything I despise it's predatory practices by companies against unsuspecting customers. There's a certain "you won't purposely fuck me" implied consent with companies that constantly claim they've got the best prices and even price match to prove it. And this isn't the first time they've done it either (see my other posts). It's only since Best Buy has taken them over it's been this bad, it wasn't in the past with Futureshop. They deserve to pay and I"ll find a way to make them pay.
I made EB pay....a lot. So much so they changed their policies 'cause I Ished them so much they could barely figure out what hit them. They probably only figured it out 'cause I was so unapologetically blatant about it. There's a company that not only will fuck the customer when they can, they also fuck their employees constantly. I have to find a way to make Best Buy pay hard for this and other shit they've pulled.
Legal way, of course :-)

Two questions:
Who gives a flying fuck about the PS3?
and
Who gives a flying fuck about Best Buy?

Seek obviously means he got it for $300 OFF, not final price. Typo man...
Sine, I don't care about Best Buy as a company, no loyalty. But they deserve to be punished for being predatory towards their consumers
