Mainly because I was laughing when I read the interview in EGM.

In other news, the PSP has now beaten every other handheld in its class by a factor of ten bazillion million kabillionjillion...

(Rumors that this is due to the fact that Sony's PR department is composed of PURE GARBAGE remain firmly unsubstantiated.)

I laughed when I read that part of the interview as well. One of the Wal Marts in Halifax has two on display (could be more out back). Shoe should have demanded that coin.

I think the funniest thing I saw in regards to the PS3 was just before Christmas. We were in line, we got in, some people got Wii and the rest had to be turned away. A mother saw that there were several PS3 units that she could buy, she analyzed the price for a moment and then asked of the people up at the counter who managed to get a Wii: "If I bought a PS3, would one of you trade me a Wii for it? They are more expensive."

Not a single persion was going to trade their Wii for a PS3. Of course, things might have been different had it been a later time, and had the people in line not have been up in the cold waiting all night to get their Wii, but I still found it funny. I, personally, spent a lot of time waiting in line-ups before I finally got my Wii =)

If somebody offered me a PS3 trade for my Wii I'd do it in a heartbeat. You can always get a Wii later, but you're not gonna see a $250 PS3 for a very very long time.

Me too, in a heartbeat. You won't find a PS3 for $250 for a long time, particularly a new one. I'll sacrifice my Wii for a month or two to get a PS3 for that price

I laughed my ass off at this, and was desperately searching for a way to extend the metaphor, but just couldn't figure out how. :D

It's all good.. sometimes it's hard to inform someone that when funny things are said, they are funny
