Backwards compatibility was a huge thing for the PS2, surprised they're doing this. We know that it's 'cause they want to save costs, but won't this hurt them more? I would think so...

Yeah, 'cause the press' opinion is always indicative of the masses....

The PS2 was the only real game in town in Europe. They're not gonna just let the PS3 come and go with no interest.

Just like Japan and North America have so embraced the PS3 =P
