Here's an AMV of it, sorry about the J-Pop =P
If by chance you missed this one: it was a game released for the Sega Saturn; while not commercially successful (Sega is notorious for having games which underachieve in the sales department), it became one of those cult hits. I have been thinking a lot lately as to how this game would play on the Wii after seeing how Mario Galaxy plays. Either way, I would like to see this concept brought out to a broader audience. This is a game that Sega, sadly, didn't bring back last generation. Will they bring it back this generation I wonder?

Interesting turn of events =P
The game was just announced for Wii. Certain sources broke the embargo on the announcement which was supposed to occur a bit later after some interest was generated over the possibility of a future release. It was supposed to be a nicely crafted surprise, the bastards =P

Eric MIGHT have beaten you to this one. Also, I totally own this game, but sold my 3d controller long ago.... I secretly wish to gain one through ebay, one day I'll gain the proper resolve... it's not required to play it, but it is required if you want to have more fun while playing it. (best controller ever)

This only feeds into the conspiracy that you Seeker are in fact bought and paid for by Nintendo!

I would looooooove to see NiGHTS into Dreams on the Wii. I sold my Saturn before it came out, and it was highly critically regarded and looked great.

From the screenshots released so far, the graphics look to be Dreamcast level, perhaps a little above, but I think that is perfectly fine for a game like this one; the art style doesn't really ask for more than that. It kind of reminds me of Skies of Arcadia in some ways, particularly the first screenshot with the flying fish and floating islands:

I think most of us are familiar with Skies of Arcadia. It is a Dreamcast level game but, in my opinion, still the prettiest graphics in an RPG/adventure title.
Here is the Magicbox description: "As a fantasy jester called NiGHTS, players will fly through Nightopia, a rich and vibrant world where dreams come to life. With the innovative Wii Remote, gamers will experience a heightened sense of gliding, spiraling, and looping through seven mystical dream worlds packed with high-flying adventure. Players must find inventive ways to confront the “Nightmarens” from the neighboring dark world of Nightmare using amazing acrobatic skills, freedom of flight, and other special abilities to protect Nightopia. NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams is an adventure filled with courage, hope and inspiration that the whole family will enjoy this holiday season."
