  • Here's a new one: fans petition to keep star OFF of Madden

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

"We're trying to go with a really young, healthy guy who's not going to get hurt," Erb joked. "The jinx thing bites us every year. I haven't told this to people, but I've got a bottle of champagne in my office that we're ready to pop once someone breaks the curse. And we're hoping Vince has a tremendous year, and will be that guy, because that's the best story for us."

I want to see the next guy who does the Madden cover just spontaneously combust, like, five minutes later. THAT would be a fucking curse!

Atleast they can joke about it at EA. I think most companies would shrug it off and say the curse doesnt exist, etc.

They get points in my book for funnay.

Well, it is kinda odd! I don't usually believe in sports curses, but the Madden "curse" does boast some rather impressive flubs and injuries in its wake, as I understand it.

Hey, how is that bike working for you, by the way, Flip?

I love it.

I got that one last year and am glad i sold my Suzuki for it. Although, now one of my roommates bought a Ducati and i have bike envy, so once the house sale and divorce settles, i may buy a Duc also, lol. I would keep the Honda because it is a two seater and you gotta have a place for fine ladies, but the monoposto Ducati i'm looking at would rule for some solo riding with friends.

Getting into the hobby of motorcycling has been one of the few highlights of my life in the last few years.

You should keep up with it then. Whatever makes you happy, man.
