You'd think something like this would be all over every major video game website, I'll believe it when I see on Gamespot/1up/IGN/Magic Box/Etc.

Though to be honest it wouldn't be surprising if it's true.

Yeah, you're right, that is an unreliable site. I'll edit my post.

Either way, we should see soon if this happens.

The guy is going off of this forum post: http://www.xboxliveaddicts.co.uk/forums ... ntry168923

He mentions the site in his "article". I highly suspect and smell bullshit, but even if it's not, the forum post says 2008 as a release date for the XBL version.

I think I'll stay out of it until bullshit has either been confirmed or denied. It's hard to clean it off your online reputation.

Likely, yes, but this "confirmed" bullshit is way off. Every major site would be all over this the second it was confirmed by anyone with any credibility.

It would also essentially eliminate every reason I'd have to get a PS3 in the next 3 years...

If it's true, I think it's a good move. There's 3 major consoles, and it doesn't seem like any of them are clear losers (like the Dreamcast, Saturn, Genesis, etc.), though so far, there's a clear winner right now (360). With the price of consoles going drastically up, there's no real reason why people should be forced to buy multiple consoles to play all of the "must-have" games.

Kinda usurped the topic here, so I've split the thread.

Sine, you might as well turn this into another thread, or tack it on to one of the others with sales records. This thread has nothing to do with the fact that the Wii is selling like hotcakes or that the PS3 is dung.

What I will say, as this is totally not on topic, is that A) You cannot mention the 360's first year as not having good games (bollocks) without mentioning Dead-fucking-Rising, and B ) I said it before, and I'll say it again: Seeker, you'd be all over Viva Pinata if it was on the Wii.
