Old game, but I'm playing it now for the first time. I think this game would have been better for the PC with a mouse, but the auto-aiming does make it a bit easier.

Just got pass the first mission and in the main HQ now. I think it's funny that I can get away with lockpicking stuff or breaking into ATMs in the HQ without anybody even noticing.

BTW, there's some doors with a door strength. How do you break those? I've tried a crowbar, but it doesn't seem to do anything.

Geez you're going back a ways...

Deus Ex was only memorable in that it was one of the first games I recall (at least in FPS) that allowed for multiple solutions to a problem and multiple varied endings... the story was good too.

Deus Ex 2 was kinda a bomb though... didn't even bother finishing that one.

As for your question... been way too long since I've played.

Deus Ex drove my ATM card PIN from my brain, back in the day. The game feeds you so many 4-digit codes that you'll end up trying half a dozen Deus Ex codes while trying to withdraw cash, and then the ATM will eat your card. Pain!

I played Deus Ex way late but really enjoyed it. I really liked the second one, too. The main problem for it was that the design was too ambitious for the existing technology: it just felt limited, in comparison to its predecessor.

I'm trying to figure out why this mechacyborgsuperelite special forces guy can't jump into the back of a truck....he has to hop on a cardboard box first.
