wow, never saw a difference like that between different versions of the same system...

I do find it funny, however, that they still ended the battle at the same time :P

Got to play with one a bit this weekend. I think it's a neat mini-upgrade. Although the differences are relatively minor from a functionality standpoint, you do REALLY notice the difference in weight. It's only what, 20% lighter? But it feels much lighter and has less, for sake of a better word, "presence". The original one FELT like a high-end portable device, this one is extremely light and feels like a "cheaper" system. It's not and I"m not saying it's a bad thing, but it's just how it felt in my hands. And that "gaping" hole where you put the UMDs is perfectly fine, don't listen to what some reviewers said.

I'll still get one eventually for the TV ability. That's still the main attraction IMO. Otherwise, it's very minor upgrades other than maybe the battery life (I actually don't feel the battery life on the system is awful but then again, I don't really use it for games much either)

Is there is a trade in special, i'll get a slim. The PSP has been my 'main' system for a while now, since i've yet to get a next-gen... and to be honest at this point, i'm not sure i ever will. When the 360's best games are all FPS's (GoW, Bioshock, Halo), that isnt really attractive to me.

Cant wait for CC...

Well, I would say that all of them aren't FPSs:

Burnout (a racing game for people who don't like racing games)
Dead Rising (sometimes wants to make you throw your controller, but still pretty good)
Mass Effect (sci-fi RPG by Bioware)
The Force Unleashed (the force powers in this game makes SS4 Goku look like a house fly)
Beautiful Katamari (definitely not an FPS)
Eternal Sonata (RPG featuring the composer Chopin as the main character)
Ninja Gaiden 2 (finally, a sequel to one of the best action games of all time)

Or Project Gotham 3. That's an awesome racing game

And you guys forgot what might actually be the best FPS in terms of design, depth, and overall replayability: Rainbow Six Vegas
