One is a cell phone game, Kingdom Hearts Coded, which I doubt will ever come to the states.

One is for the DS and is called 358/2 Days. This one aparently takes place between Chain of Memories and II. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days is a multiplayer action game where you can fight as an Organization XIII member and attempt to complete missions cooperatively with friends. There is, of course, also a single player mode.

The last one, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, is a PSP title, and this is the game that the hidden trailer of Kingdom Hearts II was previewing. It is actually a prequil to the Kingdom Hearts series, and it takes place in a time where there were multiple keyblade masters around the world.

Damnit I may finally have to get a PSP.

I'm re-buying a DS for FF4.

Yeah, see, but a DS is worth a re-buy. :) Maybe I'll just wait for 5 years and get the PSP in a bargain bin and play it then.

No system has a greater supply of quality games on a consistent basis than the DS. Other than you needing the money for something else, like a 360 and Bioshock, I can't see why you'd get rid of it

Because...

a) I DID need money for a 360
b) I planned on buying a DS Lite at some point
c) I don't agree with your first statement

Back to Kingdom Hearts! ...... Yeah, I have nothing to add.

Your first two reasons make perfect sense :-)

I broke down and finally got a DS Lite with the Crimson one (for 56% of the price, but that's a different story :-). That's a pretty nice one as only the red part of it has the glossy cover unlike the normal DS Lites which have the gloss all over the system. The bottom part has a hard plastic but with a smooth finish to it. It's much better to hold as it doesn't slip and slide in your hand and isn't a fingerprint/hand oil magnet.

I strongly suggest the Crimson one if you're gonna get a Lite as it's the best looking one on top of having greater functionality to it. It's coming out a la carte I believe sometime this month.

Why PSP? I fail to see why this would be just a PSP game. The trailer is nowhere near the capabilities of the PSP. This is probably going to also be a PS3 game. XBox 360 is a remote possibility, but they are steadfast to being a Sony house right now. (I hope Square soon realizes the mistake in staying with Sony.)

Square's side has a lot riding on graphics and style, can't really do that with the Wii. So they have to stick with Sony 'cause the 360's only really popular in NA (yes, it's made some ingrounds in Europe, but it'll be VERY third by the end).

But Dragon Warrior 9 is coming to the DS...that's HUGE. And they do have a lot of stuff coming for non-Sony systems. Just the Sony systems fit their stuff a lot better

The PSP has come into it's own lately. Has alot of really great and original games, and stopped having ports of old PS2 games.

Crisis Core by far pushes the PSP's graphical limitations, and God of War will do more of the same.

Fine. Whatever. Square can suck Sony's cock long and hard if they choose, but I'm still not buying a PSP or a PS3.

They clearly said during the press conference that it would be a PSP exclusive.

Once the PSP drops to about $120US it's worth it IMO. But make sure you get a 2GB or 4GB card, it's essential for that system who's main draw is not really games
