Anyone else playing this? Beat it today (took 2 or 3 hours?). Really fun game, working on the achievements now.

I had my way with that game..... it was super fun..... but it really just felt like a really long tutorial, hopefully the portal gun will be included in episode 3. I really enjoyed how the whole testing atmosphere changed and the game grew a story (albeit a small one)

Yeah, beat it Sunday. Great game. I hope that they release an add-on (with more levels) on XBL.

We really need to get a TF game together. All of you Halo bitches need to quit sucking da c0cks and go buy the Orange box.

Pay for my XBL Gold and I'll join ya anytime. It's against my personal religion to pay to play online after I've purchased the game for full price.

You're wasting half of what your 360 and the games can do, then... because you cant find $50 a year. Why would you spend full price on half a game?

give me a time and date and I will most likely be there (although I have not played it yet). Also, apparently there's some badness with the 360 team fortress that causes games that have more than 8 people in them to not work so well.... but there's a patch eventually coming. Valve has sent it to microsoft, but it needs to go through some sort of testing process to make sure the 360s don't explode any more than usual.

I had free XBL Gold for 2 1/2 years and I used it a grand total of maybe 2 weeks in that time. I just don't play online so it's not worth it monetarily speaking. That also ignoring the principle of the fact that I should be forced to pay more to play half of the game I already paid full price for....

But this is a tired old horse that I ain't gonna beat anymore. There's a whole discussion of this in the other thread

I've played nothing but 8+ ppl games. The host connections problems are really infrequent.

I had the opposite experience last night, all of my 8+ games were filled with lag, I had to play in smaller games :(
you may blame my router or internet connection to your heart's desire, but your favourite game, halo, runs just peachy in the multuplayer.

I'm only saying that by your philosophy, buying Halo 3 itself would be a waste and not worth your money since you cannt use half the game. If that is true, then it would be a waste to buy almost ANY 360 game since they all, one way or another, work with Live. If you dont want online play, yet refuse to buy half a game for full price.... i dont see how you can buy anything. *shrug*

Well:

1) I buy 99% of my stuff used or new at half price or less
2) I eliminate the XBL parts of the multiplayer from the equation and make my determination on whether or not I will buy the game on what's left
