First wave of Rock Band DLC announced

And you don' t have to d'load the entire pack, you can pick each song separately if you want. Maybe Red Octane will learn from this....

Those are some pretty sweet downloads. I know for sure that I'll want the Metallica pack as well as the Sabbath pack. I'll probably get the QotSA pack also. I don't mind buying packs if they are all songs I'd want individually anyway. The GH2 packs never were.
And I like individual songs being available. That's an awesome idea that should have been introduced long ago.

That's pretty cool. I don't know if it's sad or what that I'm excited about having a t-shirt with my fake band on it or an action figure of my fake character.
I do like the idea of posing the band members on the site and then exporting that as a jpg or something.

I'm interested to see how far they really go with it and if people really care. It really could make GH look tiny in comparison but I doubt it. It'll likely just end up like GH with lots more d'loadable variety and drums with Karaoke Revolution tossed in.
Of course, I don't get to play the damned thing 'til Dec 17 now......motherless fucks......

I would probably do the band shirt depending on the cost.
The DLC alone is making Rock Band look pretty sweet. And I love the drums. I'm taking off on the 21st so I can play all day.

News on the DLC...the Metallica song pack will be available the week of 11/20 including:
Blackened
...And Justice for All
Ride the Lightning
That is awesome.
The song packs are also a tad cheaper than they are for GH and there will be individual songs available also.
