Finally got around to finishing this last night-- amazing ending. The AI, the song, wow... can't wait for a Portal 2 or just more content. Was disappointed in the "Bonus Content" which was just the same levels but harder.

Thoughts?

Oh wait, we played a few days ago, but sucked.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to wear Mass Effect out in a week or less so I'll be back to the Haloz.

I've been playing through HF2. Just beat Episode 1 with the One Free Bullet achievement. Going to play Episode 2 next, though I have been playing some TF2 today.

Halo 3? GH3? Rock Band? COD4? Super Mario Galaxy? Pfft, fuck those. I am still having fun with the 5-in-1 Orange Box. I'll get Mass Effect when I'm done with that.

Devil May Cry 4 in February, though I'm kinda surprised at the lack of Christmas titles. I guess if it's in Q4, it doesn't really matter. The 360 had been barreling through like a train wreck when I got it.

Oh well. XBox Live Arcade is a good source of good games, too. Rez should be coming out sometime soon in Q1 '08, and there's a new version of Mutant Storm out.

More likely you'll see sequels to Portal. I mean you saw where you ended up right? Brave new world... perfect ending for sequels and you KNOW they're on their way.

I agree, though. It'll eventually end up on the original HL series, and it will be one of those life-changing weapons that redefine FPSs as we know it. (Sorta like the gravity gun, which has been mimicked in many a game.) Can you imagine multiplayer games like this?

For that matter, Half Life 2 is awesome. I'd just gotten to Ravenholm when my girlfriend got my Bioshock for Chuankah, so I've been distracted by teh fishies.

Nah, it's more like a dry retch. I've only played the demo, but I found it pretty fun, even if deeply, deeply ugly. Note however that this was in a pre-Halo 3, pre-COD4 world.

Am I the only one who tried Shadowrun?

It wasn't that bad a game... definitely not too much to it but it was a decent Multiplayer FPS with powers to use and different classes to play. It got quite boring after a few weeks, however, mostly due to how annoying players were in it and how lame the matchups were.

I watched that Halo recap vid that's up now (think it may have been on the Legendary disc as well) and I don't remember Halo 1 and 2 looking nearly that ugly.

Heh — both those games probably look better than Shadowrun. But it was fun.
