wow... I can't believe Microsoft let them do that. I've never seen so few achievements in a game, let alone ones THAT retarded.

Or so easy to get. I'm sure their excuse is "we have to make sure the kids can get them too" but to make them THAT easy? At least have the majority based on game completion or something that requires some level of effort

Most games don't give you that many points in 1 achievement that is for completing the game... I mean HOW LAZY were they on these achievements? Completing the game is always a simple one. It literally would take an afternoon to come up with at least 20 better/different achievements.

There should be a rule that you can't get an achievement that is 300 points. The max I've seen is 50 or maybe 75 points.

Really? Cause I KNOW there are MANY games that have 100-200 points per achievement. Hell your beloved Bioshock gives you 2 100 pt achievements for beating the game. I think some games even have a 300pt achievements.

GH3 has a 100 point one but you have to beat all career modes and buy everything in the store so it takes a decent amount of work.

Yeah, but you have to actually beat the game to get those points, and one of the 100 pt ones is supposed to be a special ending.

The point is that there should be a lot of little ones that you get by playing through the game, and you shouldn't be able to master the entire list in 2 minutes.

Games like Burnout piss me off for the opposite reason: they don't give enough points. Thus, I look like I have zero points, even though I've play through quite a bit of the game.

Your post said nothing about "special" achievements-- you said no achievement was over 75 points :P

But yeah, there's still an imbalance... I think Halo3 struck a good balance of SP, MP, and random achievements. Others are too MP heavy or too hard.

Halo gives you 125 for beating it on Normal or Heroic

Therefore it's better than any game Sine has ever played or ever will. /topic

Remember, kids: Achievement score is directly proportional to the size of your penis.

You really should replace "directly" with "inversely" :-)
