Heh, who keeps receipts for a 3 year old game? Looks like Take Five really nailed a good settlement on their part.

Well, I have an original copy for the Xbox that was given to me by the game store I go to 'cause they couldn't sell it, so I'm hoping for $10. And hey, $5 is better than nothing and you don't need jack to get that. You know, my mother and grandmother were pretty distraught over the game..... :-) (I'm kidding, people, keep your panties on)

Just use it as a pre-order on GTA4 if you feel guilty. That's what I'll do.

Ugh. You know this settlement is for the Hot Coffee mod, right? Claim this and you're profiting from a bunch of bullshit that was incredibly harmful to the industry.

Zeus doesnt support the game industry, or any industry for that matter, he likes to self-profit however possible.

You're both right. Even if I could find my receipt from the PS2 version I bought I wouldn't do it purely on that principle.

Don't do it Zeus, otherwise you're up there with Fox News.

It's not just for me. It's for my mother, grandmother, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends who suffered so from such an atrocity. Every single one of them had a PC and were playing GTA San Andreas non-stop. They all hacked their game so they could enjoy every possible line of code and have been traumatized every since.

I am OBLIGATED in taking as much money from such a filthly corporation as I possibly can. These guys actually though they could sneak code like that into such a wide release and ONLY give it an M rating? In a game where you beat up prostitutes to get money, run over pedestrians at will, and shoot everything in sight, you can't have such filth as a poorly simulated sex scene, particularly not in an age where a 4 year-old can access YouPorn with a simple click of the button. It's inhumane!

If I didn't do it and got everyone I know to do it I would be doing a disservice to nearly everyone I know and would essentially be spitting in their faces. And every single one of you should as well, if not for you, then at least for the poor innocents out there who unknowingly purchases a game by the name of Grand Theft Auto and were subject to such an atrocity.

They're monsters and don't deserve to be in business. If I can take them down single-handedly, I would....and you all should be helping me.

Very true. I despise all businesses and will screw every one of them over any possible chance I get, regardless of size. That's what growing up in a family business of variety stores will do to you, make you hate everyone and everything and have zero sympathy for the little guy

The irony, I think Zeus made like 10,000 whine posts about how this was going to ruin the game industry and make all the games Care Bears. Stuff like that.
