I was going to say fuck GH3 downloads at this point, but if it's free I'll get it.

I've only played GH3 once since I got Rock Band.

Pretty much how I think. Rock Band really is better than GH3 in nearly every way. But I get my freebie songs like this and the Halo one, I'm still gonna grab them.

Yeah, even I'll download this crap for free. I probably won't play the song (like the free Christmas song), but I will download it. haha

I keep hearing how the guitar parts are too easy, there it no challenge to play through the game by yourself with the guitar, which is why ill never get it.

If you're an expert on Guitar hero, yes, they're a little easier. If you're not, it trails about on level below in terms of difficulty. I think that Guitar Hero games are now hard for the sake of hard, so it's not necessarily a bad thing to me.

Besides, you can also play the drums which are actually as fun as the guitar IMO

Not in price or "Annoy the fuck out of your neighbors and loved ones" factor Actually price is the only reason I refuse to ever bother with Rock Band... I'm not paying $100+ for a game.

The last tier of songs on Expert are pretty hard. The final song in the game, I've failed everytime I've tried it on expert. Everything else is a 95%+ for me, but I'm awesome so...

What level do you play on in GH? I can beat about 3/4 of the songs in GH3 on Hard. In comparison, I beat RB on Hard (though I barely made it through a few songs). On Expert, I have a lot of trouble in RB.

So, unless you're an expert GH player who never fails, RB is still a challenge and thus worth playing. And like BL said, you get drums and they will make you realize how little rhythm you really have!!!

It was worth every penny IMO. But I judge games based on the hours per dollar ratio
